Most of us have a Mauser 98 rifle that is one of the best shooters we own. We would all love to scope the rifle and take it to the woods and do a little hunting with them. The only thing that’s been stopping us is; scoping an antique Mauser will destroy the collectability, and value of the gun.
With the GM-M98M1 you can scope your rifle without permanently altering its configuration. All that is required is the removal of the rear sight pin, which is simply pushed out, and then the rear sight leaf will come off. Just put this where the rear sight leaf was and reinsert the pin. Viola, that old Mauser has become an excellent hunting, scout rifle with solid mount to attach a long eye relief scope.
